Today, PCF Insurance is the proud recipient of Insurance Insider's 'M&A Transaction of the Year' Award for our partnership with Insubuy, an insurtech company and online marketplace based in Dallas, Texas, focused on visitors’ insurance, international travel medical insurance, international student health insurance, exchange visitors’ insurance, and more.

This award is presented to the company for the transaction the judging panel believed made the most economic and strategic sense in the past 18 months, producing a value-adding proposition for both parties. In addition to the deal economics and rationale, judges also considered how cultural issues were dealt with, how well the deal was received by markets and investors, and how successfully its execution has progressed post-transaction.

Our partnership with Insubuy began during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic when travel, which comprised over 80% of Insubuy’s business, came to a halt, but the PCF Insurance team had confidence that when COVID-19 abated and travel returned, Insubuy would be well positioned to supercharge growth and resume its industry-leading position.
